Rebrand
THE ASK: Total rebrand for a 20+ year old education nonprofit with a dated brand that didn’t match their goals, audience, or energy.
MY ROLE: Creative director. Interviewed stakeholders, compiled research, concepted and led design team, and worked hand in hand with in-house team to concept and design a representative logomark, illustration style, iconography, merch, and brand guide.
WHAT WE DID: We spent months researching and interviewing stakeholders to understand what separates this organization from its peers, and worked closely with the whole team to ensure that the new brand communicated everything that mattered to the people it represents.
We created a custom type with a logomark representing a joyful student, an illustration style and icons representing pillars of the brand, designed merch, and codified tone and talking points.
RESULTS: Client loved results and has implemented it far beyond initial deliverables in print, experiential, and across digital assets. Also won multiple Addys for logo design and merch.
